UGM FISIPOL CASE STUDY WRITING COMPETITION
Technical Guidelines for Case Writing Competition
In order to welcome the 25th Anniversary of the Public Administration Masters, Public Administration Masters held a case writing competition. The provisions of case script writing are as follows:
A. Theme
The theme of writing cases in this competition was “Contemporary Public Policy in Indonesia”
B. Participants in the Case Writing Competition
Participants in this case writing competition are Indonesian S-1 and S-2 students who are studying at home or abroad. Participants consist of 1 person and a maximum of 3 people. Participants are required to fill out the form through ugm.id/Contest WritingKasusMAP
C. Guidelines for Writing
The case reflects the problem of contemporary public policy in Indonesia written in good and correct Indonesian.
The case consists of at least:
a. Title
The title is concise and describes the contents of the writing. The title is written using the font times new Roman bold 14pt with a maximum number of 15 words.
b. Abstract
Abstract is the essence of writing consisting of a maximum of 250 words. The abstract is written using the 12 pt 1 space font times new roman. Abstracts are followed by keywords arranged alphabetically.
c. Opening Paragraph
The opening paragraph consists of at least a general description of the problem. This section is written with the new Roman font font 12 pt 1.5 space.
d. Agency Profile
A brief profile of the agency / institution that is the writing locus. This section is written with the new Roman font font 12 pt 1.5 space.
e. Problems faced by agencies
This section describes the problem analysis. This section is written with the new Roman font font 12 pt 1.5 space.
f. Solution to problem
This section contains solving strategies carried out by the relevant agencies. This section is written with the new Roman font font 12 pt 1.5 space.
g. Conclusion
This section contains conclusions from the writing and is written with the new Roman font font 12 pt 1.5 space.
3.Manuscripts must be original (never published anywhere)
4.The manuscript consists of 5000-6000 words (excluding titles, abstracts, tables, images and bibliography)
Writing Tables and Images
5.Each picture and table included in the case must be given the title and source / information and year. The Title of Tables and Images uses numbers 1, 2, and so on then followed by a description. The image title is placed under the image while the table title is above the table. The table must be original (not a cut) and the image must have a large resolution (to be readable).

7.Writing references using the American Psychology Association (APA) 6th edition model
8.The final case text is sent to igpa@ugm.ac.id in the form of a .doc / .docx file with the Subject Case Writing Competition. Name_Instance Author_Title.
