1. State Administration Institution (LAN)
LAN is one of the Nondepartment Government Institutions established in 1957 to carry out governmental duties in the field of state administration in accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation. Central LAN Office is located in Central Jakarta and has 4 Representative Offices called PKP2A (Center for Study and Education and Training Apparatus) respectively in Bandung, Makassar, Samarinda, and Aceh. LAN also has a School of Administrative Sciences (STIA) with D3, S1, and S2 levels located in Jakarta, Bandung, and Makassar. Cooperation conducted with MAP UGM is (1) conducting an academic forum on Government Architecture, 2014; (2) Development of Functional Position of Policy Analyst, 2015.
2. National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS)
BAPPENAS is a non-ministerial government agency in charge of carrying out government duties in the field of national development planning in accordance with the provisions of legislation. The position of Head of Bappenas held by the Minister of National Development Planning which since 27 October 2014 was held by Andrinof Chaniago. Cooperation with MAP UGM is (1) sending students to join BAPPENAS Special Class at MAP UGM; (2) Implementation of Functional Level Training; (3) Local government performance evaluation.
3. LSM Partnership, Partnership for Govenance Reform
The Partnership is a multi-stakeholder organization working with government agencies, international organizations and non-governmental organizations to advance local, national, and regional reforms. The Partnership builds important relationships between all levels of government and civil society to promote good governance in Indonesia in a sustainable way. In the realm of governance reform in Indonesia, Kemitraan is the most high profile organization. Even in the global community, Partnership is considered unique because many international institutions that support its funding focus on issues of democracy and governance reform in one country and managed by Indonesian citizens. In 2012 the Partnership earned PPM Management Award from PPM Management as it is considered as one of the successful non-profit organizations in applying good management governance.
Cooperation ever conducted with MAP UGM are: (1) Preparation of grand strategy of reform in DIY, 2005; (2) Drafting of regional regulations on transparency of information and participation in DIY, 2006; (3) Development of State Apparatus 2009-2014, 2008; (4) Bureaucratic Reform Road Map 2014-2019, 2014; (5) Documentation of E-Procurement Activities in Several Regions, 2014.
