Overview of the Public Administration

Masters Program The Master of Public Administration has three Postgraduate programs. These programs are the Regular Class Program, the Domestic Bappenas Special Class Program and the Bappenas Class Program International Class Linkage The UGM Public Administration Postgraduate Program declares itself as a change in the UGM Department of Public Administration. The program focuses on the study of public administration, especially those relating to the field of public administration, and developing concepts in the field of public administration and writing scientific papers in journals in the public interest. The vision of this program is to become a reference center for developing public administration in Indonesia. While its mission is to run an education program with international standards for students from various disciplines who have an interest in public administration. In order to support its vision and mission, the MAP FISIPOL UGM Postgraduate Study Program has carried out various international cooperation activities. The initiation of cooperation has been carried out, among others, with several universities in Thailand, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Germany, Norway, Australia and Japan.

Master of Public Administration

The FISIPOL UGM Public Administration Master Program aims to educate students to develop critical and analytical skills that are useful for overcoming and understanding the challenges of public policy, public administration, policy formulation and public service delivery. This program will prepare students for a career in the field of public administration. However, the variety of skills acquired is also very likely to be applied in the government, diplomatic and private sectors. The Master of Public Administration generally consists of four semesters with graduation requirements of 45 credits which are partly obtained by completing a research project (thesis). In addition, matriculation courses, core courses, and research methods are subjects that must be followed by each student participating in the program.

POST GRADUATE PROGRAM S2

The S2 MAP program is divided into several types as follows:

1. Regular Class Lecture activities are held: – Monday to Saturday

2. Special Class – Lecture activities which are collaborations with various public institutions. Lecture time every Monday to Saturday

*) In accordance with Academic provisions Special Class Concentration developed in this special program will be designed according to the needs of the institution that sends students, for example: Concentration of Education Policy is one of the concentrations developed by MAP in collaboration with the National Education Training Agency, Jakarta.
